On my leadership journey

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!  I am excited to create a place where I can share with you lessons from my own journey in life and leadership.   I believe that leaders are learners, and that no matter where we go or who meet, we can learn through every experience.  There are no accidents with God, and sometimes we learn through simple moments that make can make a profound impact on our lives.   I want to share the fun moments, the struggles, and everything in between.  I also want to open up about my own family so you all feel connected to what’s going on the with Gillis crew!

My goal in writing this blog is to provide a way to share my leadership journey with you so that you know my heart and feel connected with me (your boss) on a more intimate level.   For the times when there aren’t enough minutes in the day for me to share the same story with 20 of you individually, this blog will be a way for us to “have a conversation” even when we can’t sit down face to face.  Thanks for coming along this journey with me.  I am glad you’re a part of this team!
